Installations process for Octave 3.2.4.
Now, I assume you must have downloaded Octave 3.2.4.
If , not then here is the link
Notice the red bubbled link there. Yes, that one, you need to click it to download it. That is our executable file. Download it and you will see something like this on your system.
Once you downloaded the Octave 3.2.4 click it and you will be able to see something like this on your system.
Click the “Next” button and by now you will be redirected to Licence Agreement box, do read it carefully and then again click “Next”.
Once you are done with this, you will be asked to the installation location. While, you can “browse” through your system to store your Octave installed files at your convenience, it is advisable, however, to store it in default location.
Click “Next” again and you should be seeing something like this at your screen-
Just hit “Next” again and you will be at the final “Installation Wizard”, hit “Install”.
You will see all the files associated with Octave will be extracted and within few minutes your installation will be finished.
After the installation is over you will see final step in your wizard, just hit “Finish” and voila, Octave 3.2.4 is installed in your computer. What say? Now, we are all set to start our journey for Machine Learning and it’s algorithms.
To test, if your installation worked successfully. Just click the “Octave” icon on your Desktop.
Now, you will see the Octave 3.2.4 software up and running on your Desktop, just write “2+3” on the flashed screen over there and hit “Enter” you will see “5” as the output value. This shows that we have successfully installed Octave 3.2.4. And, guys congratulations we are ready to dive deep into the heart of Machine Learning. It will be an exited ride and I feel you all should stick for the same.
Please note- It may so happen that, there might be new versions of Octave available on the net. You can install them too using the aforementioned procedure and you will be good to go. You can follow along without any conventional hoax.
So, guys let’s start working around for our curiosity, lest it is getting over now. The time has just arrived where we start focusing on Machine Learning.
